This Heavy Resistance Bandserves as your primary band that will be used in numerous Equalizer™ movements which you will learn during the training. You only require one band with The Equalizer™. It is not how many bands you have; rather it’s how you use a single band to do the job of many!
Training Band
You don't need to invest in an entire set of bands. All you need is one band that you can lift with moderate to heavy resistance while maintaining safe control. The Equalizer™ will allow you to use a single band for multiple exercises without having to stop and change to a "stronger" band. With resistance bands, you will feel tension throughout the entire range of motion. You don’t have to rely on gravity as you do with free weights (dumbbells or barbells) to create the resistance. The constant tension that resistance bands offer is extremely important in building muscle, spurring a degree of metabolic stress and pump, which free weights lack. Another key benefit of using resistance bands for building muscle is their ability to work in multiple planes. With free weights (as well as weight plates found on machines using pulleys) resistance only applies in one vertical plane, which is due to gravity. With bands, you are not confined to gravity’s pull. Since The Equalizer™ is not influenced by gravity you are able to perform hundreds of exercises that weights cannot equal. Considering the advantages of linear variable resistance, multi-plane capability coupled with constant tension, and the added convenience of being lightweight, portable, and cost-effective, there is no downside to The Equalizer™ training.
